Endorsements August 24, 2009 Community support for schools is needed now more than ever. The efforts of Save our Schools Castro Valley! is evidence of the commitment of parents, teachers and other well intended community people to help Castro Valley schools in this time of need. I commend this effort and encourage others to step forward to help it succeed. It is an effort worth giving that will enrich the community. George Bischalaney, President/CEO, Eden Medical Center June 26, 2009 As a local business owner and resident of Castro Valley I am a strong believer in the S.O.S. program being driven by the Castro Valley Community. As you know this program will benefit the Castro Valley School District and their programs and will help secure the future education opportunities for our children. May 26, 2009 Save Our Schools Castro Valley! is trying to preserve the high quality of education that the Castro Valley community relies on for it's great quality of life. I strongly support their effort, and encourage residents and businesses to donate what they can to help our kids through this emergency. Please join me as a supporter. Nate Miley, Supervisor, Alameda County May 5, 2009 Vibrant communities are no accident, they are the product of individual contributions to our physical and social infrastructure. One critical piece of that infrastructure is our local schools. It is impressive to see that when they are threatened by outside forces, Save Our Schools Castro Valley! emerges to rally us, engage us and ask each of us to step up to the plate and maintain something so critical to our quality of life. I support your efforts. May 5, 2009 My grandest endorsement of Save Our Schools Castro Valley! for all their efforts in supporting our students, teachers and classrooms. We’ve got a long hard road ahead of us and the efforts of this organization can only help to move us in the right direction. Let’s hope the community greets them with open arms and sponsorships at whatever level they are capable. Roberta Rivet, Executive Director, Castro Valley/Eden Area Chamber of Commerce May 2,2009 |
